220488 05.ResolutionSubstitute resolution to vacate a portion of East Wright Street in the block bound by East Meinecke Avenue, North Gordon Place, East Wright Street and the Milwaukee River, in the 3rd Aldermanic District.

Minutes note: Kevin Kuschel - DCD - said that it is an actual street and will be vacated to continue to work as a loading deck and that will not affect the beer line trail. Ald. Brostoff asked Mr. Kuschel to explain the need for this change. Mr. Kuschel said that the loading deck is in need of repair. The requesting part said that it is more about a safety issue because it is a wooden deck that was built in 1930's and that there are no changes on the business operations. Ald. Brostoff asked to make it to the neighbors as smooth as possible and to be accessible to them. Mr. Rad said that Ald. Brostoff answered all the questions and that he has no objections to the project but that he wanted to know if there is a chance to make it a little bit less of the angle just to avoid that the garbage collection is not affected.
