     Ald. Spiker moved for the Common Council to resolve itself into the Committee of the Whole for the purpose of receiving presentations. There were no objections. From his Honor, Mayor Cavalier Johnson, made a presentation relating to the proposed executive budget for the year 2024. "Mailman" Michael Booth was recognized for his service and retirement as a United States Postal Service letter carrier. He was accompanied by Ald. Brostoff. Ald. Spiker moved that the Committee of the Whole rise. There were no objections. Ald. Spiker moved that the Mayor's Budget for 2024 be referred to the Finance and Personnel Committee for its review and consideration and, further, that its report on the budget be submitted at a meeting of the Common Council to be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 9 a.m. There were no objections.
