     4. Public Art Subcommittee Report a. PAIR Program Evaluation Report b. Public Art Conservation Fund Applications

Minutes note: a. PAIR Program Evaluation Report Ms. Svetic read from the draft of Executive Summary, members discussed the distribution plan for the PAIR Evaluation Report and voted to allow planning to begin a second iteration of the program. b. Public Art Conservation Fund Applications Two application were received one, for Black Cat Alley Mural Conservation form The East Side BID#20, committee approved $3,000.00 grant. Second application was for the restoration and re-siting of 5 Points Crossing/Marina Lee Planters from Riverworks Development Corporation, committee approved $4,000.00 grant. There were no objections.

     5. New Business a. Presentation regarding mural on City owned property at 107ADJ E Lincoln Ave

Minutes note: Watermarks MKE and artist Yesi Perez are proposing a mural to be painted on a City-owned retaining wall at 107-131-Adj E Lincoln Ave (with additional paint on the sidewalk directly below). The title of the mural would be “Driftless Memories of our Waters”, and the mural has been designed to bring more awareness to the Kinnickinnic River. Watermarks MKE plans to fund the mural through grant money from the National Science Foundation.

Minutes note:  All 2025 first payments have gone out to grantees. Ms Svetic said that the planning for 2026 program is underway, she also explained changes to the MAB code of ordinance that will need to be considered with the 2026 program guidelines. Member Flores asked this information be sent to MAB members via email.
