Minutes note: Ald. Pratt moved to go into closed session pursuant to sec. 19.85 (1)(g), Wis. Stats., for the purpose of conferring with the City Attorney who is rendering advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the City with respect to litigation in which the City is involved or is likely to become involved. The Committee may thereafter reconvene in open session. There may be a quorum of the Common Council present. Prevailed. Ayes: 4 - Ald. Nardelli, Gordon, Pratt and Richards Noes: 0 Excused: 1 - Ald. Frank Ald. Pratt moved to go into open session for the purpose of announcing the decision of the Committee. Prevailed.

991561 22)ResolutionSubstitute resolution directing the City Attorney to enter into an agreement with the law firm of Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, to analyze possible City litigation against the lead paint and pigment industry and make a recommendation to the Common Council concerning commencement of such litigation.
