| | | | 4. Public Art Subcommittee Report
Minutes note: Vice Chair, Morris said that the board is working on the next steps of the second iteration of the PAIR Program. Ms. Svetic has submitted a grant to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, which would fund the liaison for PAIR program. We will probably hear back around December; but we are trying to have everything ready to go:
Working on the one pager that goes to the members of the mayor's cabinet so they can decide whether they want to ask for an artist in residence. We are beginning to look at revising the RFP for the artist and then possibly the RFQ for the liaison. Ms Svetic introduced some ideas for other ways of handling the liaison position should we failed to get the Greater Milwaukee Foundation funding. that she will be presenting before the Redevelopment Authority for their consideration.
Although there have not being any new requests, we received a query from the new MLK library about funding work there, so the board is looking at the possibilities of their applying to be in the PAIR program.
