| 0 | 1. | Resolution | Resolution relating to the Permanent Historic Designation of the Schuster-Bloodgood Apartments at 3217 W. Wells Street, in the Fourth Aldermanic District.
Minutes note: Mr. Tim Askin said this was built as a retirement home for his second wife's parents and as an investment property. There are three apartments in the building. The building has both Colonial and Queen Anne aspects to it. There are no changes to it of any consequence since its construction. George Schuster was a tobacco merchant downtown and he served in the military. The building was designed by Charles Crane, who, with a former partner, had designed a number of well-known buildings in Milwaukee. The building meets f-1 and f-6 for designation. Staff recommends permanent designation.
Ald. Bauman moved, seconded by Mr. Morales, to open the public hearing. There were no objections.
