a. Public Art Conservation Fund Applications
Minutes note: The current balance and budget in the municipal art fund is $79,558.49 after the approval of the United Community Center conservation grant. These funds will be used to consider the conservation applications on today’s agenda and for future PAIR programming and other public arts applications or programs that are being considered. At the previous meeting, it was discussed the Black Cat Alley application and there were some questions; the Riverworks application is to repair, restore, and resite the Marina Lee planters from the Five Points Crossing to various locations around Harambee.
Member Murphy made the motion to recommend to fund $4,000 to Riverworks and $3,000 to the East Side BID for Black Cat Alley restoration work from the Conservation Fund

a. PAIR Program Evaluation Report (presented at MAB)
Minutes note: Sally went over the draft report. There is the 25 page long full report that is probably about half visuals, and the executive summary that is closer to four pages of actual text.
Greater Milwaukee Foundation grant, is part of the future of PAIR, would be funded. They do have a grant cycle open for arts and culture related programs, applications are due by September 26. There would be other funding opportunities that could be applied for to supplement the Municipal Art Fund balance.
the existing structure is partially funded through the city budget, and the liaison role was funded through a grant from the GMF. One of the main findings of the report is that, the program should continue.
Based on the findings in this report and the experiences gained throughout this process, the recommendation should be to pursue the planning of a second iteration of PAIR. Including asking the Mayor's Office for a PAIR along with this report.
