R13658 02.CommunicationPresentation of Next Steps from Executive Search Firm The Organizational Leadership Edge (TOLE) Stan Quy of TOLE will discuss next steps in the search process, with possible items to include: - - Summary of Marketing and Outreach Efforts to Date - - Update on the Stakeholder Survey - - Update on the Stakeholder Forums - - Discussion of the Ideal Candidate Profile and Next Steps

Minutes note: Mr. Stan Quy of The Organizational Leadership Edge shared that he has begun receiving applications, as the position has been posted on industry websites. It is expected that their will be an initial review of applications received starting on November 15th. He also said that the surveys also continue to be received, totaling 34 responses. The Committee believed that those responses, along with the input provided at the two Stakeholder Forums, held on October 15th and 17th, should provide enough information to begin developing the Ideal Candidate Profile. If additional surveys are received, they could be incorporated, but there is enough information to begin the process. The Committee and Mr. Quy discussed the two Stakeholder Forums. While some Committee members would have liked to have seen more political officials attend the first forum, it was also understood that budget time is a very busy time. The Members felt that the other, resident-focused forum was well attended. It was agreed that the input provided at both forums will be helpful and will be integrated into the development of the Ideal Candidate Profile. It was also noted that input from both groups and the public could continue to be incorporated while the Profile is being developed. The Committee members also look forward to more input from the groups once the finalist candidates are selected. Mr. Quy wrapped up by saying he expects to provide the following before the next meeting of the Committee: a summary of the survey responses, a summary of the Stakeholder Forum input, a draft of the Ideal Candidate Profile, a draft of the rating and ranking criteria to consider, and an initial draft of the first-round interview questions. He added that during the next meeting, the Committee may be considering the dates for the first round of interviews and be provided a summary or brief profile of each candidate to date, so the Committee can consider whether to recommend keeping the job posting open, or moving forward with the initial group of candidates.
