     4. Public Art Subcommittee Updates

Minutes note: Ms. Svetic said that they are currently accepting Statements of Interest from City departments as it relates to the issues/topics they would like collaboration with the Artist and PAIR program, to work on. Arts Board will also have an opportunity to review these applications in a future meeting.

Minutes note: 1. Code of Ordinance Updates 2. By-Laws Updates Mr. Hillard from LRB presented the board with updates to an ordinance relating to the project guidelines of the arts board. This ordinance makes adjustments to the language relating to the duties of the arts board. It eliminates unnecessary language regarding organizations operated by the city as possible recipients of project or program funding from the arts board. In addition, currently, there are no provisions for sustaining grants given to organizations by the arts board. This ordinance allows for sustaining grants given to specific organizations on an indefinite basis. Regarding updating the By-Laws, changing the language regarding objectives and duties, to reflect the changes that were made last time to the code of ordinances. Member Pate, seconded by member Souffrant moved approval of these updates. There were no objections. 3. 2026 Awards Nominations form Ms. Svetic reviewed with members the current draft of the nomination form for the 2026 Artists of the Year and Friends of the Arts.
