Minutes note: Member Richardson commented. The proposed ordinance revises the City's list of official flood hazard area maps to reflect updated maps adopted by the Department of Natural Resources. The file is technical in nature. Failure to incorporate the new maps will risk the City becoming ineligible for flood hazard insurance through FEMA. The ordinance text needs one technical correction to replace "Milwaukee River" with "Menomonee River" under paragraph b-7.
There were no concerns from members.
Member Richardson moved that the proposed ordinance, with the correction made as mentioned, meets the criteria of legality and enforceability, administrative efficiency, and consistency with the format of the zoning code. There was no objection. | | | |
