This resolution approves a vendor contract between the City of Milwaukee and the Children's Research Center for educational oversight services provided to the Milwaukee Charter School Review Committee.
Body
Whereas, The Charter School Review Committee requests approval of a vendor contract with the Children's Research Center for educational oversight services provided to the committee; and
Whereas, Under this contract, the Children's Research Center will provide the City with the following services for each of the City's chartered schools:
1. Complete fall and spring interviews with the school's leadership.
2. Conduct at least 2 site visits at each school.
3. Facilitate the completion of a learning memo and provide a data addendum as
needed.
4. Provide continuous follow-up and support to each school as needed.
5. Collect and analyze the data that are submitted by the school.
6. Produce a draft and final edition of an annual monitoring report.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council approves a vendor contract with the Children's Research Center for educational oversight services provided to the Charter School Review Committee, a copy of which is attached to this file; and, be it
Further Resolved, That appropriate City officials are authorized to enter into agreement with the Children's Research Center.
