Body
Whereas, The applicant is requesting permission to construct and maintain a barrier free access ramp with steps and handrails in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, A site visit revealed the presence of a retaining wall in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Said items may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Christian Fellowship Community Church, 2176 North 39th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53210, is hereby granted the following special privileges:

1. To construct and maintain a concrete barrier free access ramp with platform, step and handrails in the south, 15-foot wide sidewalk area of West Garfield Avenue. The platform and ramp, which project 2 feet 4 inches into the public way, commence at a point approximately 118 feet east of the eastline of North 39th Street and extend 22 feet 10 inches to the west. A single step with handrails commences at a point approximately 118 feet east of the eastline of North 39th Street and extends 5 feet to the west. The step and handrails, which abut the aforementioned platform, are 3 feet deep. At its tallest, the platform is 1foot tall.
