Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $146,800 with the total cost estimated to be $1,341,800.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

2nd Aldermanic District

W. Stark St. - N. 64th St. to N. 68th St. (SM495110534): Sewer work prior to paving. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $2,000). The total estimated cost for this project is $2,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011-2012 construction season.

3rd Aldermanic District

Alley between N. Cramer St., E. Hampshire St., E. Hartford Ave., and N. Oakland Ave. (SM495110538): Sewer work prior to paving. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $1,500). The total estimated cost for this project is $1,500. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011-2012 construction season.

4th Aldermanic District

W. McKinley Blvd. - N. 27th St. to N. 35th St. (SM495110539): Sewer work prior to paving. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $70,000). The total estimated cost for this project is $70,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011-2012 construction season.
