Analysis
This resolution approves the Interest Arbitration Award between the City of Milwaukee and Fire Equipment Dispatchers, Local 494, IBEW, AFL-CIO, relative to overtime payments from Pay Period 20, 2009 through 2011.
Body
Whereas, the City and Fire Equipment Dispatchers, Local 494, IBEW, AFL-CIO, received and Interest Arbitration Award; and
Whereas, the Arbitrator’s Award constitutes the full and complete settlement of the overtime issue which is set forth in the Arbitrator’s Award and copies of the Award are attached to this file and incorporated herein as though fully set forth at length; now, therefore be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Interest Arbitration Award between the City of Milwaukee and Fire Equipment Dispatchers, Local 494, IBEW, AFL-CIO, the terms of which are set forth in a document annexed to this file, be approved; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to take the necessary action to implement the terms of the Award; and, be it
Further Resolved, That such sums as are necessary for the implementation of the aforementioned Interest Arbitration Award in accordance with its terms and conditions be obtained for and charged to the appropriate departmental budget accounts in accordance with the customary reporting and accounting requirements.
