Substitute resolution cancelling various City invoices.
Analysis
This resolution cancels 19 unpaid City invoices totaling $162,216.82. Court judgments have been received on these claims, effectively supplanting the unpaid invoices with a court-ordered debtor obligation so the City can cancel the original invoices. To the extent the City is ultimately paid for these unpaid invoices, those payments will be received through these court judgments.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has referred the following 19 invoices to the Kohn Law Firm for collection and were determined to be uncollectable; and
Whereas, The Kohn Law Firm sued for payment at the direction of the City and court judgments have been received against 19 individuals or entities; and
Whereas, These court judgments shall remain of record; and
Whereas, Cancellation or adjusting 19 invoices will ensure proper accounting within the Department of Public Works; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following claims by the Department of Public Works-Administration are cancelled or adjusted, and that court judgments taken shall remain of record:
