Analysis
This ordinance establishes a fee of $6 for each tax-levy year payment history or a duplicate tax-payment receipt for each property tax account provided by the city treasurer.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 81-123 of the code is created to read:
81-123. Tax Payment History and Tax Payment Receipt Duplicate.
a. The fee for each tax-levy year payment history shall be $6.
b. The fee for a duplicate tax payment receipt for each property tax account shall be $6.
Part 2. Section 304-36 of the code is created to read:
304-36. Fees for Tax Payment History and Duplicate Tax Payment Receipt. The city treasurer is authorized to issue tax payment histories and duplicate tax payment receipts upon payment of the fees provided under s. 81-123.
