Analysis
Currently, no precious metal and gem dealer’s license is granted to an individual, partnership or corporate applicant, unless the individual applicant, each of the partners, or the corporate agent has been a resident of Wisconsin continuously for at least 90 days prior to the date of the application. This ordinance repeals this requirement.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 92-10-3-c of the code repealed. (Note: The provision being repealed
reads as follows:
92-10. Precious Metal and Gems Dealer’s License.
3. APPLICATION. c. No precious metal and gem dealer’s license shall be granted to an individual, partnership or a corporate applicant, unless the individual applicant, each of the partners, or the corporate agent has been a resident of Wisconsin continuously for at least 90 days prior to the date of the application.)
Part 2. Section 92-10-3-d of the code is renumbered 92-10-3-c.
