This resolution grants a special privilege to KP Liquor and Food Inc to construct and maintain a barrier free access ramp with steps and handrails in the public right-of-way for the premises at 2816 West Fond du Lac Avenue.
Body
Whereas, The applicant is requesting permission to construct and maintain a barrier free access ramp with steps and handrails in the public right-of-way; and

Whereas, Said items may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that KP Liquor and Food Inc, 2816 West Fond Du Lac Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53210, is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To construct and maintain a concrete barrier free access ramp with platform, wooden steps and handrails projecting 2 feet 10 inches into the northerly, 10-foot wide sidewalk area of West Fond du Lac Avenue. Said ramp structure commences at a point approximately 140 feet west of the westline of North 28th Street and extends west 28 feet 4 inches. The wooden steps are located at the easterly edge of the ramp structure abutting the ramp’s platform.

Said above-mentioned barrier free access ramp structure shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.

Said barrier free access ramp structure shall be maintained or removed from the public right-of-way, at such future time as they are no longer needed, to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.
