Title:

Resolution amending Resolution File Number 081425 related to the I-94 N-S Corridor Reconstruction overtime grant.

 

Analysis:

This resolution amends Resolution File Number 081425, adopted on March 3, 2009, which approved an I-94 N-S Corridor Reconstruction overtime grant agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in the amount of  $70,000 so that the Police Department can accept additional grant funding of $10,000 for a grant total of $80,000. 

Body:

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 081425 on March 3, 2009, approving an I-94 N-S Corridor Reconstruction overtime grant from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation; and

                                          

Whereas, Grant funding for the period 01/01/09 to 12/31/10 was $70,000; and

 

Whereas, Additional funding of $10,000 has been provided by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Resolution File Number 081425 adopted on March 3, 2009 is amended by deleting the amount “$70,000” in the 1st “Further Resolved” clause under Item 1, and inserting in lieu thereof the amount “$80,000”, thereby increasing the grant by $10,000
