Sections

Analysis
Currently, on designated streets, vehicles may be parked on both sides of the street day or night, except when snow has accumulated to a depth of 4 inches or more. The code requires that on designated streets when snow has accumulated on the street to a depth of 4 inches or more, vehicles may be parked on one side of a designated street. This ordinance requires that for a street designated “no parking when snowfall 4? or more,” the depth of snow accumulation shall be determined at the sanitation district yard in which a street is located for the purposes of effectiveness and efficiency of snow removal operations.

b. For a street designated “no parking when snowfall 4? or more,” depth of snow accumulation shall be determined at the sanitation district yard in which a street is located.

c. Designated streets are to be found in the common council proceedings, the official record on file in the city clerk's office, and the code on f...
