Title
Resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $516,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $7,972,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $516,000 with the total cost estimated to be $7,792,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
1st Aldermanic District
N. 19th St. - W. Capitol Dr. to W. Fiebrantz Ave. (SM495100208): Relay sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $137,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.
2nd Aldermanic District
W. Grantosa Dr. - N. 77th St. to 100 feet m/l east of W. Gertrude Dr. (SM495100201): Relay sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $152,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.
3rd Aldermanic District
N. Cramer St. - 400 feet m/l south of E. Hartford Ave. to 250 feet m/l south of E. Edgewood Ave. (SM495100197): Relay combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $658,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
