Whereas, An application was submitted by Calvin Howard on January 27, 2025; and
Whereas, The application was reviewed by the Department of Public Works and all related costs have been paid; and
Whereas, The Citizen Advisory Committee on the Naming of Public Buildings, Facilities and Streets met on March 6, 2025 and by a vote of four (4) ayes and two (2) excused recommended approval of this honorary naming; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that assigning the honorary name "Pastor Otha Howard" to North 56th Street from West Parkway Drive to West Fairmount Avenue, is approved.
