Analysis

This resolution authorizes payment to Phillip S. Georges, PLLC in the amount of $200,000.00, related to the lawsuit filed by Robert H. Kohlhoff. 

Body

Whereas, the Plaintiff, Robert H. Kohlhoff, has filed a lawsuit against the City of Milwaukee, by and through his attorney, arising from a motor vehicle accident involving a City vehicle on January 4, 2021; and

 

Whereas, the City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim: now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $200,000.00 payable to the order of Phillip S. Georges, PLCC Client Trust Account, 790 N Milwaukee St. Suite 200 C, Milwaukee, WI 53202 as soon as practicable; and so be it

 

Further Resolved, that in compliance with the City Attorney’s direction, the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue City checks as soon as practicable, in full and final settlement of all claims arising from the motor vehicle accident, to be charged as follows: to the Damages and Claim Fund Account No. 001-S118-006300, and so be it.
