Minutes note: Appearing: Atty Clint Muche Ms. Averhart Based on claimant asking for wages lost for having to dispute an invalid parking ticket. Atty. Muche stated this types of claims are not before this body. After further discussion, Ald. Chambers withdrew his denial recommendations. Ald, Bauman moved to reimburse Ms. Averhart in the amount of $14.00 for th ereplacement of her ID. There were no objections.

Title

Substitute resolution relating to the appeal of Olivia Averhart.

Body

Whereas, Members of the Judiciary and Legislation Committee have reviewed the records relating to the claim of Olivia Averhart, relating to her claim.  Based on this review, members of the Committee, despite the recommendation of the City Attorney, recommend the claimant be reimbursed $14.00 in  payment of this claim; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper city officers be and they hereby are authorized and directed to issue a city check in the total sum of  $14.00 payable to Olivia Averhart, 2202 S Kinnickinnic Avenue, Apt # 314, Milwaukee WI 53207, to reimburse her for the loss; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the check is to be delivered upon presentation of a proper release, approved by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to Account No. 636506,  Fund - 0001, Organization - 1490, Program - 2631, Sub Class - S118.  This resolution would release the City from any further liability arising from this incident.
