Substitute resolution relative to amending the State of Wisconsin Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) grant.

Body
Whereas, The Common Council File number 091465 and 081332 authorizes the Community Development Grants Administration to apply, accept and fund the City of Milwaukee Neighborhood Stabilization Program from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce; and

Whereas, The City of West Allis was awarded $838,192 under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program from the State of Wisconsin consortium for the activity of Redevelopment; and

Whereas, The City of West Allis has notified the Community Development Grants Administration (see attached letter) that they would like to adjust the award as follows: $650,000 is transferred to Milwaukee County for the Acquisition/Rehab - Rental activity; and

Whereas, The City of West Allis will keep the balance of the funding in the amount of $188,192 and change the activity use from Redevelopment to the activity of Acquisition/Rehab - Resale; now therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the award to the City of West Allis is amended as stated above; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the Community Development Grants Administration is responsible for awarding a subrecipient contract for these approved activities; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the subrecipient organizations shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it

Further Resolved, That payments for CDBG cost incurred shall be paid in accordance with approved CDBG reimbursement policy based on the approval by the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller; and, be it
