Title

Resolution accepting a sewer easement document SE-2817 from Locust Milwaukee LLC.

Analysis

This resolution accepts Sewer Easement SE-2817.  The easement is located in vacated East Locust Street from the west line of the east ½ of vacated North Gordon Place extended to 15± feet east. 

 

Body

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has submitted a request for an easement required to maintain an existing 21-inch diameter combined sewer located in vacated East Locust Street from the west line of the east ½ of vacated North Gordon Place extended to 15± feet east; and

 

Whereas, The easement area is located in lands owned by the Locust Milwaukee LLC; and

 

Whereas, Sewer Easement SE-2817, granting permission to the City of Milwaukee or future assigns to maintain the 21-inch diameter combined sewer has been approved as to contents by the City Engineer; and

 

Whereas, Sewer Easement SE-2817 will also grant the City of Milwaukee or future assigns the right of entry in and across the property with the right to inspect, enlarge, reconstruct and relocate said 21-inch diameter combined sewer as may become applicable; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts Sewer Easement SE-2817, said Easement document being attached to this Common Council File Number 100218 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, that after said Sewer Easement document has been accepted, it shall be forwarded to the City Attorney for approval as to form and execution and then to the Department of Public Works for recording and distribution.
