Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $132,000 with the total cost estimated to be $2,458,000.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

1st Aldermanic District

W. Atkinson Ave. - W. Ruby Ave. to W. Glendale Ave. (SM495100146): Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $236,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.

N. 29th St. - W. Glendale Ave. to W. Ruby Ave. (SM495100145): Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $119,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.

2nd Aldermanic District

W. Fond du Lac Ave and N. 52nd St. Intersection (ST211110151): Median island revision. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $7,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $49,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2011 construction season.
