Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various

parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South 27^th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Ohio Avenue from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the north side of West Blue Mound Road from the east curb line of North 61^st Street to a point 150 feet east thereof at any time”

“On the east side of North 73^rd Street from a point 1560 feet south of West Bradley Road to a point 125 feet south thereof”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Blue Mound Road from North 61^st Street to a point 50 feet east

On the north side of West Cherry Street from a point 320 feet east of North Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Drive to a point 115 feet east thereof

On the south side of West Cherry Street from a point 235 feet east of North Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Drive to a point 115 feet east thereof

On the south side of West Clybourn Street from North 2^nd Street to a point 50 feet east

On the west side of South 22^nd Street from West Grant Street to a point 310 feet south

On the east side of South 27^th Street from West Ohio Avenue to West Morgan Avenue

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the south side of East Oklahoma Avenue from the east curb of South Kinnickinnic Avenue to a point approximately 160 feet east thereof”

Part 5.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On South Aldrich Street from East Bay Street to a point 190 feet south

Part 6.  Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of South 22^nd Street from West Grant Street south to the first east/west alley”

Part 7.  Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South 27^th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Ohio Avenue from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday

Part 8.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:

On West Blue Mound Road from North 91^st Street to North 92^nd Street

Part 9.  Section 101-27-10 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by striking the following:

“On South 9^th Place from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Morgan Avenue”
