Whereas, The property is located at 1005 East Reservoir Avenue; and
Whereas, The property is owned by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD); and
Whereas, The property was billed May 1, 2006 and the initial bill was $16,072.77; and
Whereas, In July, 2009, the Wisconsin Circuit Court ruled that the special assessment for this parcel be removed; and
Whereas, MMSD informed the City in January of 2010 of this decision; and
Whereas, The City non-assessable fund will be charged for this bill; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller shall issue to the City Treasurer a check in the amount of $13,214.49 for the four installments of the special improvement bill; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Street Non-Assessable Account (ST211100001) be charged for this amount; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the remaining two payments be processed as necessary by the proper city departments.
