Resolution commending Mr. David Flores for 30 years of dedicated service to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee
Analysis
Body
WHEREAS, David Flores has retired from his position as Procurement and Contract Director after 30 years of service to the City of Milwaukee and to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Flores has served the Housing Authority in various positions within the Modernization and Development Services Section progressively rising through the ranks to become an integral part of the successful completion of over $400 million of affordable housing real estate development; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Flores has served City of Milwaukee residents generally and public housing residents specifically with dedication and professionalism of the highest standards throughout his career; and
WHEREAS, in his roles with the Housing Authority, Mr. Flores has helped numerous public housing residents, Housing Authority employees and City of Milwaukee residents with his knowledge of HUD regulations and general good business practices; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority wishes to recognize Mr. Flores for his leadership and advocacy over the course of his career on behalf of City of Milwaukee residents and public housing residents; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee, that Mr. Flores be and is hereby thanked and commended for his 30 years of dedicated service to the City of Milwaukee and to the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that best wishes be and are extended to Mr. Flores for a long and fulfilling retirement.
