Stats., for the purpose of conducting specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Resolution authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute a contract for electronic heath records software for the Health Department.

Analysis

Resolution authorizing appropriate City officials, including the Purchasing Director, City Comptroller, and City Attorney, to execute a contract for health software on behalf of the Health Department. This specific approval is required based on requested exceptions to the City’s standard Terms and Conditions, which differ from the City’s standard Terms and Conditions and require Common Council approval before this contract can be executed.

Body

Whereas, the City of Milwaukee issued Request For Proposals #19345 in January, 2023 as an open and competitive solicitation for providers of electronic health records software; and

 

Whereas, a panel of evaluators reviewed submitted proposals and interviewed, and rated proposers to select the proposal best suited and most cost-effective for the City; and

 

Whereas, the selected proposer and the City have negotiated Terms and Conditions for the proposed services; now, therefore be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the appropriate City officials are authorized to execute an agreement for electronic health records software for the Health Department with the selected proposer.
