Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various

parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North Prentiss Street from West Tallmadge Place to West Sheridan Avenue on School Days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the east side of North Prentiss Street from West Tallmadge Place to North 72^nd Street on School Days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On West Sheridan Avenue from a point 125 feet east of North Strathmore Avenue to a point 380 west of North 72^nd Street on School Days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On North 72^nd Street from West Sheridan Avenue to West Silver Spring Drive on School Days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the east side of North Edgeworth Drive from north 57^th Street to West Luebbe Lane on School Days from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

On the west side of North Edgeworth Drive from north 57^th Street to a point 230 feet north on School Days from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the north side of East Ward Street from South Kinnickinnic Avenue to East Archer Avenue, at any time”

“On the south side of East Ward Street from South Kinnickinnic Avenue to the first north-south alley east thereof, at any time”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North Prentiss Street from West Sheridan Avenue to North 72^nd Street on School Days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM”

“On the north side of West Sheridan Avenue from North Strathmore Avenue to North 72^nd Street on regular School Days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday”

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North Strathmore Avenue from West Herbert Avenue to West Sheridan Avenue on School Days

On the west side of North Strathmore Avenue from West Herbert Avenue to West Kathryn Avenue on School Days

On the south side of West Kathryn Avenue from north Strathmore Avenue to North 72^nd Street on School Days

On the east side of North 72^nd Street from West Custer Avenue to West Kathryn Avenue on School Days

On the west side of North 72^nd Street from West Custer Avenue to North Prentiss Street on School Days

On the east side of North 77^th Street from West Mt. Vernon Avenue to a point 150 feet north
