Analysis
This ordinance adjusts the rates charged by ambulances for patient services. For patients who are residents of the city of Milwaukee, for basic life support and for basic life support - emergency the charge is increased from $441 to $471. If they require treatment without transport the charge is increased from $105 to $112. For patients who are not residents of the city of Milwaukee, for basic life support and for basic life support - emergency the charge is increased from $510 to $545. If they require treatment without transport the charge is increased from $150 to $160.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 75-15-14-c-1 and 2 of the code is amended to read:
75-15. Ambulance Certification Regulations.
14. DETERMINING RATES BILLED BY PRIVATE SECTOR PROVIDERS.
c-1. For patients who are residents of the city of Milwaukee, for basic life support, [[$441]] >>$471<< and, for basic life support - emergency, [[$441]] >>$471<<. When patients require treatment without transport, a [[$105]] >>$112<< basic life support non-transport fee shall apply.
c-2. For patients who are not residents of the city of Milwaukee, for basic life support, [[$510]] >>$545<< and, for basic life support - emergency, [[$510]] >>$545<<. When patients require treatment without transport, a [[$150]] >>$160<< basic life support non-transport fee shall apply.
