Substitute resolution authorizing the Department of Employee Relations to extend the current contract for a benefits communication tool for City employees.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Department of Employee Relations to extend the current contract with Flimp Communications to provide customized, on-demand digital communication solutions for City employees to help them better understand and utilize City of Milwaukee benefits.
Body
Whereas, Common Council Resolution File Number 201645, authorized the Department of Employee Relations to execute a contract with Flimp Communications to provide enhanced benefits communication to City employees; and
Whereas, Flimp Communications has been a great partner with the City and continuously reviews new ways to educate employees on current benefit programs and services and how the programs work; and
Whereas, Flimp Communications has been able to provide customized digital content and video benefit communications for City employees along with hosting a dedicated employee resource center for open enrollment and new employee orientation; and
Whereas, Flimp Communications has agreed to keep contract fees flat through the duration of the contract extension; now therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Department of Employee Relations is authorized to extend the current contract with Flimp Communications through December 31, 2026.
