This resolution amends Common Council File Number 230110 relating to the administration of the Alert Neighbor Program to add a requirement that any changes made to the program require approval from the Common Council.

Whereas, On January 19, 2021, the Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 201247, relating to the creation of the Alert Neighbor Program special fund; and
Whereas, On July 11, 2023, the Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 230110, relating to the administration of the Alert Neighbor Program; and
Whereas, The Common Council deems it necessary to add a reporting requirement to the administration of the Alert Neighbor Program; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Resolution File Number 230110 is amended by inserting the following “Further Resolved” clause:
“Further Resolved, That any changes made to the Alert Neighbor Program shall require approval from the Common Council.”
