This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised State/Municipal Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the West Grange Avenue Bridge over Canadian Pacific Railway in Aldermanic District 13.
Body
Whereas, A revised project agreement has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to be executed by the City of Milwaukee for the West Grange Avenue Bridge over Canadian Pacific Railway in Aldermanic District 13.
Whereas, The Department of Public Works shall notify the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee of project cost overruns and changes in scope approved by the Department of Public Works; and
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee recognizes that the City may be 100 percent liable for project cost overruns and changes in scope as approved by the Department of Public Works; and
Whereas, Construction funds for the project were previously established in a separate resolution 210947; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute agreements for the design oversight and construction of the aforementioned project with Federal and State aid under the Local Bridge Program, copies of which are attached and are incorporated into this resolution by reference as though set forth in full.
