Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute Project Agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the planning, design and construction of two Transportation Alternatives Program projects. This resolution also directs the City of Milwaukee Comptroller to transfer funds and establish project grant chartfield values for the planning and preliminary engineering for these projects. The Project Agreement provides for 80 percent Federal aid and 20 percent local funds. The total estimated cost of the two projects is $1,119,777 with a grantor share of $895,822 and a City share of $223,955. The total estimated planning and preliminary engineering cost for the two projects is $458,296, with a grantor share of $366,637 and a City share of $91,659. Construction funds for these projects will be included in future resolutions.
