Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $35,000 with the total cost estimated to be $850,000.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

9th Aldermanic District

N. 60th St. - W. Hemlock St. to City Limits (Including W. Mill Rd. to W. Green Tree Rd.) (ST216230106) Asphalt pavement resurfacing and replace ADA ramps. (Nonassessable High Impact Paving Fund -- $10,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $600,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2024 construction season.
13th Aldermanic District

W. Howard Ave. - N. 43rd St. to N. 76th St. (SM499230008) File Number 220994: Installing Bioswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- $25,000 additional funding). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $250,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2023 construction season.
