Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Department of Employee Relations (DER) to extend the current contract for two years with Ameriflex to provide administration of the City’s Flexible Spending and Health Reimbursement Arrangements.
Body
Whereas, Ameriflex has comprehensive experience administering Flexible Spending and Health Reimbursement Arrangement benefits; and
Whereas, Ameriflex is a valuable partner with the City in providing this benefit to employees and addressing issues that arise in a timely manner; and
Whereas, Ameriflex has also been able to accommodate the unique needs of the City and its employees and provides excellent customer service; and
Whereas, The initial contract term with Ameriflex ends December 31, 2023 and Ameriflex has agreed to flat administration fees for the duration of the two year contract extension; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the DER is authorized to extend the current contract with Ameriflex for two years until December 31, 2025.
