Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2023 offices and positions in the City Service.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Assessor’s Office, Police Department

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 220651 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2023 - December 25, 2022):

Under “Assessor’s Office, Real Property”, delete one position of “Senior Property Appraiser 4 (A)(X)” and add one position of “Property Assessment Technician II (X)”.

Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 220651 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 5, 2023 - February 19, 2023):

Under “Police Department, Office of Management & Planning”, delete twelve positions of “Crime Analyst”, delete one position of “Crime Analyst (AA)”, add twelve positions of “Crime Analyst III”, and add one position of “Crime Analyst III (AA)”.

Under “Intelligence Fusion Center”, delete sixteen positions of “Crime Analyst” and add sixteen positions of “Crime Analyst III”.

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4. The provisions of Part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2023 (December 25, 2022).

Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 5, 2023 (February 19, 2023).

The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
