Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
2nd and 5th Aldermanic Districts
N. 76th St. and Hampton Ave. Intersection (ST3201906XX) (2545-03-72) File Number 201657: Intersection improvements including traffic signals, street lighting, and ADA curb ramps. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2023 construction season and is tied to (2545-09-71: W. Hampton Ave - N. 29th St. to N. 60th St. Resurfacing) (2984-13-74: W. Center St., W. Lisbon Ave., and N. 60th St. Intersection Improvements).

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
