Resolution authorizing the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a project agreement title “Cost Sharing Memo of Understanding Between the City of Milwaukee Hmong American Peace Academy, LTD.” for the cost of the construction of two concrete speed tables on North 84th Street between West Congress Street and West Hampton Avenue in the 5th Aldermanic District with a total estimated cost of $40,000.

Whereas, The concrete speed tables are requested by the Hmong American Peace Academy for speed reduction on North 84th Street; and

Whereas, The Department of Public Works completed the design and estimate of the project for the Hmong American Peace Academy; and

Whereas, the Hmong American Peace Academy is requesting that DPW contract the work for the construction of the speed tables and will pay the cost of the speed tables, including the engineering, oversight, contract administration and construction costs; and

Whereas, The DPW will be the lead agency of the project design and construction; and

Whereas, This project is programmed for construction in 2023; and

Whereas, The preliminary engineering was approved in Resolution File Number 201465 (ST211210156); and

Whereas, Funding for the construction phase of the project will be included in a future Resolution; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public works is hereby authorized to execute the project agreement titled “Cost Sharing Memo of Unders...
