Body
Whereas, In 1904, the City of Milwaukee constructed 18-inch and 15x22-inch diameter combined sewers in North Marietta Avenue from East Hartford Avenue to a point approximately 210’ +/- north of East Hartford Avenue; and
Whereas, Said section of North Marietta Avenue was vacated on September 26, 1927 and the land is now owned by Christopher S. Abele; and
Whereas, Said sewers no longer serve the public interest; and
Whereas, Christopher S. Abele has agreed to accept ownership of said sewers now, therefore be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to execute the Quit Claim Deed document (QCD-2915), in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution) and to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
