This resolution amends Common Council Resolution File Number 211910, adopted June 21, 2022, which created the American Rescue Plan Act Funding Allocation Task Force, by amending the reporting deadlines to March 2023.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council, in Resolution File Number 211910, adopted June 21, 2022, established the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funding Task Force to provide recommendations to the Common Council for the allocation of certain second tranche ARPA funding; and
Whereas, That resolution set forth the reporting deadlines for the Task Force; and
Whereas, The ARPA Task Force has deemed it necessary to change those reporting deadlines; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Resolution File Number 211910, adopted June 21, 2022, is amended by deleting the text of the 14th “Further Resolved” clause and inserting the following in lieu thereof:
“Further Resolved, That the ARPA Task Force shall recommend projects for approval to the Finance and Personnel Committee, which shall then forward its recommendations to the Common Council on the following timeline:
“1. Introduction of the Common Council file with Task Force recommendations no later than February 28, 2023.
2. Finance and Personnel Committee meeting on March 15, 2023.
3. Common Council vote on March 21, 2023.”
