The sewer is being conveyed because it is no longer needed for public use.

Whereas, Common Council File Number 212003 is a resolution vacating North 8th Street and North 9th Street south of West Michigan Street to their termini; and
Whereas, The vacation of these street segments renders West McAuley Place inaccessible and unusable; and
Whereas, Common Council File Number 220243 repeals the ordinance naming West McAuley Place; and
Whereas, Upon vacation of North 8th Street and North 9th Street south of West Michigan Street the sewers are no longer needed for public use; and
Whereas, there is a Certified Survey Map under review by the City of Milwaukee to divide these lands between 9th Street Holdings, LLC and West Michigan Investments, LLC; and
Whereas, 9th Street Holding, LLC has agreed to accept ownership of said sewer, and therefore be it Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to execute the Quit Claim Deed document (QCD-2913) in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution) and to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office; and
