Mr. Britton also made mention that HACM has been working with this agency and they have met the organization’s needs. Willie Hines, HACM’s Secretary-Executive Director, indicated that Division 10 Personnel has provided temporary hires for HACM and Travaux who have moved into permanent positions. Mr. Hines also indicated that HACM is exploring other avenues in its search to fill maintenance and other positions. Chair Wagner requested the numbers of Section 3 participants for the temporary and new hires. Commissioners discussed temporary versus permanent positions and who would be overseeing the positions. WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) solicited proposals by Official Notice No. 58022 on June 18th, 2021 to provide Maintenance Employee Staffing for the HACM; and

WHEREAS, four were received by the deadline of 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 9th, 2021; and

WHEREAS, after careful review of the proposals received, staff of the HACM recommends that Division 10 Personnel Services submitted the most responsive proposal and is the best qualified to undertake such Maintenance Employee Staffing for the HACM; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they be and hereby authorize and approve accepting the proposal of and entering into a contract with Division 10 Personnel Services, for Maintenance Employee Staffing for the HACM, for approximately $440,000.00 per year, with the option to extend for an additional four one-year terms upon mutual consent of both parties; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from various funding sources; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the HACM be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the HACM; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED that all acts previously performed, relative to this matter, by the Commissioners and the Secretary-Executive Director...
