Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2022 offices and positions in the City Service.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:

Common Council - City Clerk, Fire Department, Health Department (Office of the Commissioner of Health Administration, Clinical Services Division, Environmental Health Division, Policy, Innovation & Engagement Division)

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 210761 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under “Common Council-City Clerk, Municipal Research Center, Historic Preservation Commission”, add footnote designation “(X)” to the title of “Senior Planner”.

 

Under “Fire Department, Support Services Bureau Decision Unit, Construction and Maintenance Division”, delete two positions of “Fire Building and Equipment Maintenance Specialist” and add two positions of “Fire HVAC Maintenance Technician”.

 

Under “EMS/Training/Education Bureau Decision Unit, EMS (Emergency Medical Services Division)”, delete footnote designation “(C)” from one position of “EMS Education Coordinator (C)” and one position of “Mobile Integrated Healthcare Program Manager (C)”, and delete footnote designation “(M)” from one position of “Milwaukee Overdose Response Initiative Supervisor (M)(C)”.

 

Part 2.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 210761 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2022 - December 26, 2021):

 

Under “Health Department, Office of the Commissioner of Health Administration, Commissioners Office”, delete one position of “Director of Administration and Operations”.

 

Under “Clinical Services Division”, add one position of “Public Health Clinic Operations Director (Y)”

 

Part 3.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 210761 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 11, 2022 - May 15, 2022):

 

Under “Health Department, Environmental Health Division, Home Environmental Health”, delete one position of “Environmental Health Services Manager (Z)(TT)”, delete three positions of “Environmental Health Services Manager (X)(Y)(RR)”, add one position of “Home Environmental Health Manager (Z)(TT)”,  add three positions of “Home Environmental Health Manager (X)(Y)(RR)”, delete two positions of “Environmental Health Coordinator (RG)”, delete five positions of “Environmental Health Coordinator (X)(TT)”, delete one position of “Environmental Health Coordinator (X)(TT)(QQ)”, add two positions of “Home Environmental Health Coordinator (RG)”, add five positions of “Home Environmental Health Coordinator (X)(TT)”, add one position of “Home Environmental Health Coordinator (X)(TT)(QQ)”, delete ten positions of “Lead Risk Assessor II (X)(TT)”, delete nine positions of ““Lead Risk Assessor II (X)”, delete four positions of ““Lead Risk Assessor II (X)(QQ)”, delete four positions of “Lead Risk Assessor III (RG)”, add ten positions of “Home Environmental Health Inspector 4 (X)(TT)”, add nine positions of “Home Environmental Health Inspector 4 (X)”, add four positions of “Home Environmental Health Inspector 4 (X)(QQ)”, and add four positions of “Home Environmental Health Inspector 4 (RG)”.

 

Part 4.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 210761 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 16, 2022 - July 24, 2022):

 

Under “Health Department, Clinical Services Division”, delete one position of “Clinic Operations Director (Y)” and add one position of “Public Health Nursing Director (Y)”.

 

Under “Policy, Innovation & Engagement Division, Vital Records”, delete one position of “Vital Statistics and FIMR Manager (J)(X)(Y)”, add one position of “Health Customer Service Manager (J)(X)(Y)”, delete one position of “Health Project Coordinator (X)”, and add one position of “Public Health Strategist (X)”.

 

Part 5.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 6.  The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2022 (December 26, 2021).

 

Part 7.  The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 11, 2022 (May 15, 2022).

 

Part 8.  The provisions of Part 4 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 16, 2022 (July 24, 2022).

 

The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

 

Part 9.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
