Analysis
This ordinance expands the list of project types which are eligible for Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing.
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 304-26.5-2-k of the code is amended to read:
304-26.5 Clean Energy Financing.
2. DEFINITIONS.
k. "PACE loan" means a loan made by a PACE lender to a borrower under this section for brownfield >>revitalization<< [[remediation]], electric >>vehicle<< [[car]] infrastructure, energy-efficiency measures, >>energy reliability improvements,<< renewable energy projects, >>resiliency improvements, storm water control measures,<< water service line replacement and water efficiency improvements made to a commercial property.
