Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2022 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Department of Administration (Budget and Management Division), Common Council - City Clerk, Employes’ Retirement System, Health Department (Clinical Services Division, Community Health Division, Environmental Health Division, Policy, Innovation & Engagement Division), Department of Neighborhood Services

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 210761 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Department of Administration, Budget and Management Division”, add one position of “ARPA Director”.
Under “Common Council - City Clerk, Central Administration Division”, delete one position of “Community Outreach Coordinator (X)” and add one position of “Events and Outreach Coordinator (X)”.
Under “Health Department, Policy, Innovation & Engagement Division, Community Health Planning and Coordination”, delete one position of “Data and Evaluation Coordinator (E)(X)” and add one position of “Data and Evaluation Coordinator (X)”.
Under “Community Health Division, Empowering Families of Milwaukee (EFM)”, add one position of “Public Health Nurse Coordinator (E)(X)(Y)”.
Under “Clinical Services Division, Disease Control & Prevention”, add five positions of “Public Health Nurse 3 (RG), add one position of “Program Assistant III (RG)”, and add footnote “(RG)” to read as follows:
“(RG) Position funded by ARPA. Position authority will terminate upon expiration of ARPA funding.”
Under “Environmental Health Division, Emergency Response Preparation”, add two positions of “Public Health Nurse 3 (RG)”, add two positions of “Public Health Social Worker 3 (RG)”, add two positions of “Community Outreach Specialist (RG)”, add one position of “Data and Evaluation Coordinator (RG)”, add two positions of “Program Assistant III (RG)”, add one position of “Inventory and Purchasing Manager (RG)”, add one position of “Delivery Driver (RG)”, add one position of “Microbiologist (RG)”, and add footnote “(RG)” to read as follows:
“(RG) Position funded by ARPA. Position authority will terminate upon expiration of ARPA funding.”
Under “Employes’ Retirement System, Management Support Services”, add one position of “Pension Investment Analyst-Senior”.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 210761 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 14, 2022 - June 26, 2022):
Under “Department of Neighborhood Services, Court Division”, delete one position of “Building Codes Court Administrator (X) (Y)” and add one position of “Building Codes Court Manager (X) (Y)”.
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 14, 2022 (June 26, 2022).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
