WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) owns and manages more than 4,000 units of low-rent public housing under the terms of an Annual Contributions Contract with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and

 

WHEREAS, HUD allows Public Housing Authorities to submit Demolition/Disposition applications to dispose of all or part of public housing structures and land in excess of what is needed to operation efficiently;

 

WHEREAS, the Secretary-Executive Director recommends approving the submission by the Housing Authority of the Demolition/Disposition application to sell four non-residential buildings on 5.37 acres of land in the Parklawn development to the Central City Cyberschool at market value; and, therefore, let it be

 

RESOLVED, that the recommendation to submit the Demolition/Disposition application to sell 4301 W. Marion St. and 4343 W. Marion St. to Central City Cyberschool for market value is hereby accepted; and be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary-Executive Director is hereby authorized to take whatever action is necessary to complete the submission of the Demolition/Disposition application to sell 4301 W. Marion St. and 4343 W. Marion St. to Central City Cyberschool for market value land and have said property removed from its inventory.
